50-50 x Vans Half Cab

To mark the 10th anniversary of 50-50 skateshop, 50-50 has teamed up with Vans for a limited edition 50-50 x Vans Half Cab. Only 197 pairs of these Half Cabs will be available and they will be released at the 50-50 Half Cab launch party and 10th year anniversary exhibition on August 24th. Fortunately, those who don’t reside in UK will be able to have a chance to get these through their online store.

CLOT x Pepsi x Bearbrick

For those who have ever made their way into the 2nd floor store of Hong Kong based CLOT, you’ll notice the huge 1000% Bearbrick’s in the store window, among them is a Pepsi collaboration. CLOT will once again collaborate with Pepsi and Bearbrick to create a series of 5 Bearbricks. The figures will also have matching t-shirts to complete the package.

Atmos x New Balance 576 Fujin

In 1988, the New Balance 576 made it’s debut in the world. As a pre-celebration of the 20th anniversary of the 576 model, Japanese sneaker store Atmos and New Balance will kick things off a bit earlier with the tentative release of this Fujin inspired model later this September. Fujin is known as the Japanese wind god.

Nike Air Structure Retro Samples

When it was known that 2007 would represent the return of the Nike Air Structure, many people rejoiced. Things just got a bit better with a preview of some more upcoming colorways for this classic running shoe. When the Air Structure debuted almost 20 years ago, it represented a top of the line sneaker for those runners with overpronating gaits and the need for cushioning. These latest samples have returned with some nice simple colorways. They feature vertical striping which according to a source will be removed for the final product. Stay tuned for more details.

Lake Tajo x Stussy Sunglasses

On Saturday, Stussy Japan stores will release these collaboration sunglasses they created with Lake Tajo. Lake Tajo is known as the creative director for Japanese brand GDC. The sunglasses will be available in three different colorways. The price on these shades will be 15,750 Yen (~$128 USD).

iDiom Fall/Winter 2007 Jackets

Summer has just arrived but Grandism has already received their batch of iDiom’s Fall/Winter 2007 jackets and accessories. For the holiday season iDiom, a sub-brand created by Burton and Hiroshi Fujiwara, will release a series of high quality jackets and accessories inspired by the color red and plaid patterns. We can see that this year’s collection will be more colorful and vivid than last year’s collection which was based on greyscale colors.




Saint Alfred x Reebok Ventilator

The 2nd Anniversary of Saint Alfred boutique in Chicago yielded this special collaboration with Reebok. This sneaker features a black/purple colorway. The upper is a mix of patent croc and perforated leather. Gold and purple accents complete the shoe; purple is featured on the midsole and translucent sole as well as the laces. The gold embroidery is featured on the tongue as well as the word “Sta” on the heels. For more detailed pictures, check out these earlier previews.

Nike Back to School Pack

Here’s a look at a pack set under the idea of “Back to School”. Included in the pack is the Air Max 90, the Dunk High and the Vandal High. The “Notebook” Dunk High features side panels similar to lined paper. The lines itself are texturized and raised. Although not visible, the “Elmers Glue” Air Max 90’s feature dried glitter glue detail on the upper. Finally, the Vandals are modeled after a Crayola box.

KAWS x Tokyo Tribe Hasheem Figure

At the recent Medicom Toy Exhibition in Tokyo, the classic Tokyo Tribe Hasheeme figure was redesigned by the artist KAWS. The vinyl is still recognizable as Hasheeme however the figure features new hands, new eyes and new ears all in KAW’S artist style.

Michael Lau x Nike Pro Final Product Figures

A week ago, we revealed to you an upcoming project between Michael Lau and Nike Pro. Pictures of the final product have been revealed which feature not only the painted figures but also the likes of Federer, Ronaldinho and Bryant in Nike Pro gear. These figures are not available for sale to the public but Nike HK has teamed up with Yahoo HK to create an auction (June 25th - July 5th) for a chance to acquire these figures. Another opportunity to acquire this set is playing the Nike Pro Train Simulator (June 18th - July 18th).

OriginalFake x Medicom Toy / OF Latest Releases

Medicom Toy is having an exhibition at Parco Museum this weekend where they are showcasing their upcoming products. At the event there will also be a section of OriginalFake’s upcoming Fall/Winter collection. Kaws designed a special Medicom Toy tee for the exhibition (pictured after the jump.) Also releasing at OF Japan this week is a follow-up to the skateboard Kaws did with REAL Skateboards. This time it reads “FAKE” rather than “REAL.” Some dissected skull t-shirts will be available as well, check them out after the jump.

Solebox x GelaSkins

Solebox hooked up with GelaSkins to produce a limited run of iPod Video Skins to match their sold out Puma Clyde collaboration. Only 75 of these Solebox x GelaSkins iPod Video Skins were produced, 25 of which were available (and sold out) at Solebox last Friday with the release of the shoe. For those who missed out, another 40 are available NOW at www.music-skins.com/solebox. The other 10 pieces will be available soon at Major DC.

Oliver Peoples for Nom de Guerre


Leading eyewear brand Oliver Peoples have produced a pair of sunglasses exclusively for Nom de Guerre. The design is inspired by the glasses worn by musician Roy Orbison and looks of that nature. The frame has an iconic, hand sculpted, 50’s style look and features 50’s retro pin detailing and flat lenses. These were produced in very limited numbers and will be available in the next few days at Nom de Guerre’s flagship location on Broadway in NYC.

Foot Patrol x New Balance 576

It looks like New Balance will be collaborating with stores/labels as we have just previously seen the GIMME5 x New Balance 576. Now, here is a picture of the 576 created by London’s premier sneaker boutique Foot Patrol and New Balance. This New Balance 576 comes in a brownish tan colorway and features an interchangeable side logos. Because the “N” New Balance logo is velco, you can easily rip off the “N” and change it with another colored “N”. It looks like the Foot Patrol version comes with an interchangeable velco Foot Patrol mask. There is no word on the release date as of now.

A Bathing Ape famous for it’s popular Bape camo has released these Bape camo clocks which comes in four colors. These Bape camo clocks are modeled after its original Bapex wrist watch. These make a perfect household item for fans of Bape.

Nike SB “Shogo” Blazer

Here are sample pictures of an upcoming Nike Blazer SB under the nickname “Shogo”. The details are presently unknown but “Shogo” may be a reference to Shogo Kubo, a Japanese member of original Dog Town skaters. “Lordless Warrior” is written on the back heel tab and a Japanese character which stands for Ronin is seen on the heel. Ronins were ex-Japanese samurais that had either lost their lords or felt out of favor.

No Mas x Puma “The Lottery” First Round

The annual NBA 2007 Draft goes down next week on Thursday June 28th. Approximately 24 hours prior to that, a similar lottery draft (a pre-cursor to the actual draft in the NBA) will take place at 31 West 19th Street. No Mas will stage their own draft based off the iconic basketball lottery system that began in 1985. 105 of the original lottery draft picks have been captured in artistic form and they now replace players as the commodities.
You will also have the chance to check out the No Mas x Puma First Rounds which are aptly chosen sneaker for this collaboration. The sneaker features an upper comprised a lottery balls graphic and a clear sole featuring No Mas’ logo. Other details include metal lace tips and 3 different colors for the laces. Only 48 pairs of First Rounds will be made.

Levi’s Mobile Phone

Starting September 2007 in Europe, Levi’s will released their own mobile phone. Levi’s Mobile represents a new step by the legendary denim brand as they attempt to secure a spot in not only the mobile industry but the accessories industry. This stainless steel phone represents Levi’s functional essence to durability and usability. The bottom of the phone features a chain (think chain-wallet) to allow you to securely fasten your phone to your pants or bag. The phone is available in 5 different colors, metallic silver, black, metallic copper, shiny silver and shiny sand. No word yet on availability and pricing.

Nike Air Max 1 and BW Releases

Purchaze has just released some new Air Max 1s as well as an all new BW. One of the Air Max 1 is in an earthy chino colorway while the other is in a watermelon-esque colorway with green upper and reddish pink accents. The BW features an almost all white upper with very slight grey and red accents.

Nike [co]+Lab Windrunners

Here’s a look at two recently released Nike [co]+lab exchangeable Windrunners. The first one was created in collaboration with Gasius, a brand created by Englishman Russell Maurice. The material features white ballon silk with an all-over print of stripes, numbers, characters and stars. It represents a fusion of 80’s designs with a bit of new age bite.
Secondly is the Kai and Sunny Windrunner created by the design team of Kai and Sunny. K&S group ply their as illustrators and art directors within advertisements, publishing and exhibitions pertaining music and fashion. Some of their previous work include Toyota, Honda, British Airways, PS3 and Levi’s not to mention their work with Nike White Label, ACG, Nike iD and Jordan Brand. Much like the Gasius Windrunner, the K&S is created with white silk and all over print. Both of these Windrunners are interchangeable due to the zipper that runs right down the middle. Vans Vault For July 2007

Here is the latest from Vans which includes a SK8-Hi and Slip-On featuring a variety of different prints all placed in checkerboard fashion. The prints include dessert camo, and different forms of plaid. Other new Vans models include a kimono cloth Era and Chukka as well as dot ring Chukka. Available now at Zozo Town.
